FEATURES
- S1D13706 LCD controller prototype board with interface to color / grey-scale / black-and-white LCD display panels.
- For use in connection with display panels without on-board LCD controller.
- Provides a simple 8 bit processor bus interface. Ideal for use with small embedded processor systems.
- 80K bytes video RAM on chip. Uses 18 address lines for registers and video memory access.
- On-board 50Mhz crystal oscillator
- On-board 3V3 regulator. The board can be supplied from a 3.3V source or a 5V-8V source.
- Two independent LCD contrast voltage generators on-board:
- Positive supply adjustable from +12.5 to +27.5 Volt.
- Negative supply adjustable from -12.5 to -27.5 Volt.
- Multi-turn potentiometers for easy color / contrast adjustment.
- Can be controlled on/off by software via the GPO line on S1D13706.
- LED indicator for GPO line on (generator on) status.
- If only one supply is used for LCD contrast, then the other can work as LED backlight supply.
Ideal for use with backlights using LED's coupled in serie.
- 40-pole standard ribbon cable connector to processor bus
36-pole standard ribbon cable connector to LCD display bus
- Break-away extension board with pads for mounting of FCC/FCB SMD connectors:
- 0.5 mm and 1 mm pitch
- Up to 40 poles.
- Pads for parallel connection with 40-pole standard ribbon cable connector.
- Can be used for strapping between the LCD display bus and the FCC/FCB connector.
- Holes for mounting of LCD display related components, capacitors etc.
- PCB size:
38 x 51 mm (without FCC/FCB break-away board)
64 x 51 mm (including FCC/FCB break-away board)
- Full documentation included.
- Supported by the S1D13706 Color LCD driver library
- Can be connected directly to the IOTester tool for
easy development and test of embedded graphical applications by use of common PC program development tools.
- Other FCC/FCB pad sizes or LCD connectors up to 50 pins can be connected by use of the FCC/FCB prototype board.
